The Budapest Museum Central is a small family hotel located in the heart of historical center of Budapest. The building is within walking distance from the main administrative, business and cultural districts of the city, the famous shopping area of Vaci Street, the pedestrian Raday Street with nice restaurants and cafes and the romantic Danube river embankment with restaurants on elegant boats. The property is classified as paid hospitality and has a great homelike atmosphere with only 5 rooms. The accommodation is located in a 19th century building directly across from the Hungarian National Museum many of its rooms have spectacular views onto the Museum one of Hungary’s most famous landmarks. Visitors cannot find a more central location with all major transportation hubs only minutes away, two nice guarded parking areas at walking distance and close to some of the best and traditional thermal Spas of Budapest. The building is only a 4 minute walk from the Astoria Metro station and a 1 minute walk from the Kalvin Ter Metro station.
BREAKFAST
We don’t directly serve Breakfast. However we can recommend our guests many cafès where to have breakfast that are located in the area just a few meters from our hotel. Among them there are international chains like Starbucks and California Coffee Company or small local cafès like the Geraldine Auguszt Múzeumkert that is located in the park of the Hungarian National Museum just behind the Museum building.

Arriving by bus From the airport
The easiest way to approach us if you take 100E bus from Ferihegy International Airport which goes every 20 minutes. The first at 5:00 AM and the last at 1:20. The ticket cost 900 Forint / 3 Euro which you can buy from the machines at the bus stop or from the bus driver. Please not that with the simple single ticket not valide on the 100E bus. From the airport to the center you arrive within 30 minutes and you will need to get off at the first station called KÁLVIN TÉR.

Car Parking
Our accommodation does not have its own parking lot but there are several guarded garages nearby. One of our recommendation is the Pollack underground which is located behind the National Museum and works with the best price value for money. For more information don't hesitate to contacting us.
